SNOO Smart Sleeper—Rental

SNOO helps babies sleep better, cry less, and stay safer through the early months of life. It smooths over the problems that commonly disrupt a baby’s sleep: colds, teething, growth spurts, and the dreaded 4-month sleep regression. Most parents rent SNOO until their baby is ready to transition to a crib, which is usually around 6 months. Our App’s weaning option helps make this transition easy!

When you place your rental order, your credit card is charged for your 1st rental fee (plus tax), a $99.50 reconditioning fee (plus tax), and a $99 refundable security deposit.

For our Basic rental, one month after your SNOO is delivered, your card will again be charged the monthly rate (plus tax) for the upcoming month. For our 6-Month Special rental, after your SNOO is delivered, you will not be charged again until you have completed your 6-month period. Each subsequent month, you will be charged again, until you return the rental.

You may cancel at any time by clicking here and shipping your SNOO back to Happiest Baby.Please note, you will be paying to rent SNOO on a monthly basis with a 1-month minimum rental term (Basic) or paying a fixed amount for 6 months and then paying on a monthly basis with a 6-month minimum rental term (6-Month Special).

Once your bed has been received and passed inspection, we will refund your security deposit, minus any deductions for damaged or lost parts.

Important: Save your original SNOO box + inserts to use when you return the bed. You are responsible for any damage to SNOO related to inadequate packaging. (Use of packaging not approved by Happiest Baby—or improper use of packaging provided by Happiest Baby—may result in severe damage to the product during shipping.)

NOTE: Your rental ends on the last day of your last rental month. (For Basic, your last rental month is the month that began on the day of your last billing. For the 6-Month Special, your last rental month is the 6th month or if you rent it for longer than 6 months, your last rental month is the month that began on the day of your last billing.)

No problem! You may cancel your order up to 1 business day before your selected ship date by clicking here. After your SNOO ships, you may still cancel at any time, however you will be responsible for the applicable minimum rental period plus the refurbishing fee ($99.50 + tax) and return shipping fee ($59.50 + tax). Your rental period begins the day your SNOO delivers.

Happiest Baby gift cards—including ones received through our Refer-a-Friend program—can be applied to SNOO rentals. However, gift cards cannot be used to pay for your security deposit, return shipping fee, or for corporate rentals.

Yes! Through our relationship with Truemed, qualified customers can now use Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds for SNOO! This means you may be eligible to buy or rent SNOO with pre-tax dollars…resulting in about 30% savings on average!

To use your FSA/HSA on a SNOO Rental, complete your purchase with your normal payment method. Afterward, you’ll see an option to use your HSA/FSA on your order. Click on “Get Reimbursed.” You’ll answer a short questionnaire. Once you’re pre-approved, you’ll receive a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) with more detailed reimbursement instructions within 24 to 48 hours. Submit your LMN and your receipt(s) to your HSA/FSA provider to get reimbursed.

Please note that the SNOO rental fee and return shipping fee are eligible for reimbursement, but the Cleaning & Reconditioning Fee is not.

Every year, ~3,500 American infants die during sleep. A big reason for these continued thousands of deaths is stomach sleeping. About two-thirds of SUID cases happen when babies roll to—or are placed on—the side or stomach. (The risk is even greater when a baby rolls over when swaddled and/or if parents have put soft, loose bedding in the infant's sleep space.) For this reason, all public health programs recommend that babies are placed to sleep on the back. The National Institutes of Health says back sleeping is “the single most effective action that parents and caregivers can take to lower a baby's risk of SIDS.” Being put in bed on the back is a key safe sleep recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics. And, the CDC notes that “babies who sleep on their backs are much less likely to die of SIDS than babies who sleep on their sides or stomachs.”

Happiest Baby's SNOO Smart Sleeper is a true advance in infant safety. SNOO is the first baby bed to receive FDA De Novo Authorization for its effectiveness at keeping sleeping babies on the back. (De Novo means the product is a whole new and unique class of devices). SNOO is recommended for babies to use until 6 months or they can roll consistently (meaning they have rolled from stomach to back—multiple times—during sleep). Back sleeping is the safest position for sleeping infants. However, SNOO has not demonstrated a reduction in the incidence of SIDS/SUID.
